Meet Tulsa Photographer April Stout

Hello and welcome! You see that group of people above? That’s me and my loves…my life. As you can see, my babies aren’t such babies anymore! It truly seems like yesterday I was changing diapers and washing bottles. The realization of how quickly time passes is one of many reasons why I am so passionate about what I do. I want you to be able to look back on your portraits captured and be able to smell your sweet baby’s skin. To hear their cry. To go back to those sweet days that felt so long at the time, but now you somehow are watching your baby take their first steps or start their first day of school.

I realize there are so many choices when it comes to searching for a photographer. Thank you so very much for considering me to be yours. I feel honored you would consider me to capture YOUR world. YOUR life. I promise to do my very best to capture your family just as I would hope someone would capture my own; with patience, gentleness, care, and giving attention to all the little details you certainly won’t want to forget.

I am located about 20 minutes east of Tulsa in my hometown of Chouteau, OK. I specialize in newborn portraiture and photograph little ones year-round in my home-based studio. I also offer sessions throughout baby’s first year as well as maternity, child, and family sessions.

A few things about me:

I am a wife to an incredibly supportive husband
A mother to 2 precious girls Kodi-18 & Ava-16 (and a dog fittingly named Rowdy)
I could drink caramel frappe’s on a daily basis
I am an extremely patient person by nature and clients always comment on this!
I love watching sports, sometimes more than my husband! (Specifically OKC Thunder and OU Sooners)
